Cha Am, Hua Hin and Pranburi residential property market update

Colliers Thailand have released their latest market report for Cha Am, Hua Hin and Pranburi residential property markets.

On the demand side Colliers research Thailand said that demand did not dramatically increase in 2017. On the supply side they said that approximately 1,436 condominiums and housing units were launched during the first half of 2018 and that this was around 22% higher than that of 2017.

They also point out that newly launched units have decreased dramatically over the past few years and that residential prices in Cha Am, Hua Hin and Pranburi are at similar levels to those seen within the second half of 2017.

Also of note were that only 395 new housing units were launched and that they were all located inland rather than coastal developments.

They also go on to predict that growth will remain slow during the remainder of 2018.
